NictaEngine 4.2.0.135 released
The heart of any Anti-Virus is the scanning engine — you can requests to scan objects enter and the engine returns information indicating if these objects are infected or clean.
In this version:
– Improved performace for all file types.
– Improved S.M.A.R.T. exclude for some nonexecutable formats.
– DOS_COM formats detection improved.
– Type_CAN heuristic improved.
– Type_INF heuristic (for some autorun.inf worm’s part) added.
– Linux ELF, JPG, GIF, BMP formats parsing added.
– Added some routines for deep scan ‘Install’ packages.
– Packer library upgrade.
All NictaTech partners already have Nicta Anti-Virus Engine 4.2.0.135
